We’re back on tour with this 2nd leg of Alexander O’Neal’s Farewell Tour leading up to The Royal Albert Hall on June 7, 2024. On this leg Alex decided to not use his American vocalist and go with his UK vocalists. Fortunately, I was blessed to get the call to continue this leg of the tour.
Performing at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend was an incredible experience, full of energy, soul, and connection. The venue’s grand stage and excellent acoustics gave the music a richness and clarity that carried to every corner of the hall. From the very first note, the audience was completely engaged — clapping, singing, and swaying along with the grooves, creating an electric atmosphere that fed directly into our performance. Sharing the stage with Alex turned the night into a celebration of music and joy for the people.
What made the evening truly unforgettable was the connection between the performers and the audience. Cliffs Pavilion allowed for a balance of grandeur and intimacy, where the energy of the crowd felt immediate and personal. Every solo, harmony, and chorus was met with enthusiasm that inspired the band and elevated the performance to something extraordinary. Playing alongside Alexander O’Neal in Southend was not just a concert — it was a shared musical experience, a night of joy, connection, and soul that will stay with me long after the final note.
Playing at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend, UK, offers performers a modern and versatile venue overlooking the stunning Southend seafront, known for its panoramic views and vibrant atmosphere.
